Happy Leap Year!

Happy Leap Day! One extra day to do whatever you want. And I think there's a calorie waiver in place today.

A "brick" is the performance of two activities in a single exercise session, like swimming and running, cycling and running (most common), swimming and cycling, etc. The idea is to prepare the body for a multi-sport event like triathlon, or to simply punish the body more than just doing one thing. After a hard bike ride, it' feels positively unnatural to start running. Nothing moves the way you expect it to. After time, though, it starts to get easier.

dang... wish I could find my leap year... sadie Hawkins date night pics from my teens.

my idea of "brick," (says the extremely non running Marie) in terms of two activies.. a margharita session followed by a nachos session... or... a wine session followed by a scrapbooking session... do either of these count? heh heh heh.....

Marie... aka... well you know..

Happy Leap Day/Year.

I agree, it should be a bonus day - a day off from work - an extra day to use however you want.
