Snow...snow...

snow...

Hmm, I heard of that a few times. Made of cotton, right?

I don't know how you do those winters. I guess the snow plow makes it more entertaining. Right? Hope you can get out on the roads soon!

We all surrender.

Well, we Canadians are a hardy lot to say the least.

I have also started my 1/2 Marathon training this winter, man did I pick the snowiest winter in years to start training. Miss Lily talks about last Saturday's storm.

I met my running group at 08:00 am and headed off to do 16km. The roads had been plowed but underneath all the snow there was lots of ice.

Tricky getting my footing and the sidewalks were horrible. As we ran along the streets the snow drifts were higher than me standing at 5'5". I was hallucinating about running in the spring with tulips popping up everywhere and the smell of liliac bushes.

The feeling I had once I completed my 16KM run was fantastic and sitting back at home drinking my glass of wine felt even better.

Well, one thing is for sure, Spring will get here eventually and if we can run in 55 cm of snow think of how fast we will be on clear pavement.

Look out National Capital Race Weekend, Ottawa Canada.

Thanks for stopping my blog.

Can't agree more. I spent 25 years digging out of that stuff and I can't say I miss it...ever after 11 years of the desert.

I will swap you your snow for the world's rain that has descended upon the island.

Yes, the butterfly was old last years stock.

The TT, is the TOURIST TROPHEY, Isle Of Man road races for motorbikes, the oldest in the world. It's too weeks of bikers heaven on the Island. The isle of man really is the isle of men then.single women take note, lots of spares.

Don't know how you can run in that weather over there. The only thing i run is a bath, although i have been known to shift my rear end speedily to photograph the big butch rugby players. Not in heels though, but occasionally drunk.
