A common topic amongst us...

We seem to all be fascinated with bodily functions!

Mostly because we are up at ungodly hours to get to our events, we are use to our "certain routine's", we eat a plethora of healthy bowel stirring foods, and we are "athlete's"...who are out on the road for hours on end.

I came across this article from the new Canadian Running magazine, which I thought would appropriately fit into my upcoming weekend....having the "jitters" per say.

So, happy reading, have a great weekend everyone!

Best wishes to all of you running, racing, tri-ing and cycling....

Oh, a special shout out to Xenia, who is running her very first Half on Sunday in New Hampshire....YOU GO GIRL!

also,
a very special thanks to Wes, Vickie, JT and to all the rest of you who have been so wonderfully supportive while I get ready for my first Tri....

Have a great weekend everyone,

Life's fun if you don't weaken,

Lily

Good luck and have fun this weekend! OMG, the article cracked me up. It doesn't matter how many times I go before I leave the house, I ALWAYS have to visit the porta potty just before the race. Nerves, I suppose, but it's irritating. Losing your bib-that's sad.

Great article; very appropriate.

Good luck this weekend!!!! YOU CAN DO IT!

have a great weekend!! I, for one, have no issues pooping in the woods :-) especially during a race, evidently!!!

LMAO I love that pic with the flowers on the booty. My wooded potty pics would never look so pretty. Have fun this weekend, seriously savor every tri second

I am looking forward to a great race report--have a good time! As to the article, the advantage of being a cyclist is that you can get somewhere civlized much faster than a runner in the event nature summons. Unless you are riding in the Tour de France, and then you just, well...

OMG, I was just thinking about "bodily functions" on my run today. I have no idea why. Too funny.

Thanks for the well wishes a couple of months back. We are finally starting to get back into the swing of things again after a crazy few months.

I can't believe you are doing your first tri this weekend!!! GOOD LUCK!!!! :)
