Maybe I needed a drastic change to spruce me up but I definitely needed more time to myself and just by cutting off my hair it saves me about forty-five minutes in the mornings. Now that I'm officially a grey hair, life is just beginning!
I'm off to spend some quality time on my bike trainer, do the required housework then off to the canal...a new day, renewed energy!
Life's fun if you don't weaken,
Lily
ps, thanks everyone for lifting my spirits from my previous post, I appreciate your comments and concerns left on this blog, your emails and on Facebook, thank you!

Love the new do! You look gorgeous! That is some sassy red lipstick too that you are rocking.
ooooh, nice! I call something like that my "racing do". Ready to rumble!!
Looks tremendous and welcome to the grey.I just wish more women had the courage to go with the natural beauty they grow into instead of trying so desperately to look 20. Personally I think you look better with the new haircut but unlike you my problem is going with the new skin tone as opposed to grey.
I adore my silver hair, I find it very pretty, so much so that I have grown it out. If I had hair as thick as yours I would love a short cut, it looks really glamorous! Enjoy Winterlude.
I LOVE the cut & style. It looks so fun & fresh and sassy on you.
Glad you are enjoying some "you" time.
I want to skate on the canal one of these days. I have only ever been to Ottawa for race weekend! Have to check out Winterlude and you can take me on the canal or for a midnight snow shoe!
you look FAB uloulsy cougar-ish... go get em! tiger print not withstanding....
VERY Chic!
very cute!
Quite clever to manage your hair to save more time and have more time for yourself.
