Happy Mother's Day everyone!

Not too much going on today, I'm not a mother, although I have been called one on the very odd occasion.  (As a term of endearment, what were you thinking?)

The weather gods have not really been cooperating, well to my liking at least, where is the Hallmark Card Mother's Day weather, with fluffy clouds, sunshine and warm soft winds ?

Come on, turn up the heat would you!!

Yesterday morning was absolutely gorgeous, but as I whiled away the time catching up with friends and family on the telephone, the clouds rolled in along with the rain.   My day was going to be split in two had the weather been nicer.

Gardening in the morning and hopping on Ruby for the afternoon.  Alas, I ended up curled up with a good book for the remainder of the day.   What a slug.

Since everyone will be engaged with Mom events today, I'm going to have a nice spin on Ruby in a little while and enjoy my day.

Hope you all enjoy yours too!

Happy Mother's Day Mom

even though I haven't seen you in 35 years I know you're with me, save a spot for me in heaven, we will celebrate again when I get there!!

Life's fun if you don't weaken,

Lily

You have the same consideration for everyone that a mother would have for a child. So I guess its happy mothers day to you.
Ps you get a mention in my blog this week.

If you want some heat, I'm willing to share. It was 96 here today! Phew.

In reference to Jess' comment... huh, 96 degrees. Forget it! It's nice for a change right now.

Happy Mother's Day to you!

I hope you and Ruby had a fantastic ride today!! This spring weather is making it difficult to get outside it seems since part of the day will be nice, another part will be rainy. Oh well, better than snow!

35 years without a mommy in your life is a long time. I know how blessed I am. Thanks!

Thanks for your support. On mothers day my 12 yo daughter and I have a tradition of running a 5 K mothers day run...she is now only 3 mins behind me. One day she will pass me. One day she may push me in a wheelchair (cuz she says thats what she will do if I can't run). One day I won't be there... I am sure your mom is very proud of you. Thoughts like yours make me appreciate my daughter even more. thank you.

Laurel, happy late honorary mother's day to you! My mother is still alive and going strong at 81 yrs young; your loss of so many years ago helped me and others I am sure, to appreciate the fact that ours moms are just a phone call away. Thank you!
