Just read through your last few posts and wish you a speedy recovery! One of the main reasons I started running was because people kept telling me that I couldn't and shouldn't do it. My take on all this is: You're never to old to live the way you want to, and injuries are just part of the deal that we have to accept and take in stride.
Seems like an odd emphasis to me... sort of Old Testament ... sort of negative ... or something. Life is full of choices. And after all, what constitutes success? Is the author of this phrase male or female? It would be a sad mistake to assume that sacrifice would guarantee a good outcome.
