Short and sweet:
- Hill training on a bike is HARDER than hill training while running. With my cold still very much present, I sound like a porn star when I'm trying to breath and gorp is stringing from my nose. Not a very nice visual nor audio, and even worse when cycling for the first time with someone you hardly know.
- Why is it when I look out the window and see trees blowing at 90 degree angles, I just don't want to go out on the bike? The other day the wind was gusting at 60Kph and I was just about blown off the road.
- How come I'm not finding the time to blog lately?

Hills and wind... hmmm, interestingly, these are not two of the top reasons that I decided to get a bike!
I hate the wind!!
the wind makes us stronger, mentally and physiclly! makes me damn angry along the way!
gorp is sexy :-)
Gorp? never heard of that term! LOL.
I used to have the same thoughts: biking on the hill and against the wind is harder than running training in similar conditions. Now I don't bike anymore because after the motor-bike incident I don't feel safe.
you'll be loving it come summer....
Wind is so annoying!!!
Hmmmm...why are you not finding the time to blog? ...I guess real life is slowly taking over :)
I hope you get better soon...colds are not very compatible with running and biking. Take care...
I trust you will shake that nasty cold quickly!
I don't know that I've ever heard a congested porn star. They don't talk much in the porn I watch ;)
Hope you feel better soon!
I hat wind and I hate hills!! Way to tackle them both:)
You ride up hill going 'Oh baby, oh baby'??????
wind + bike = no fun
I hate wind too! Blogging is harder in the spring....too many other thinks to think about.
Porn star with gorp? Sexy Babeeeee
I really is so much easier to deal with the wind while running. I used to absolutely hate riding in the wind.
not blogging? Need a muse, or.... you're going against the wind and need a break
gorpiness clogs the brain parts needed for writing..
take the break, get well
talk soon

I agree with you on the hill training on a bike vs. running. Hope you kick that cold soon!
So on the downhills it must be "yes, yes, yeeesss!! Sorry couldn't resist. You're find more time to blog than most people, who don't. At all. Hope you're 100% cold-free soon.
the wind makes us stronger, mentally and physiclly! makes me damn angry along the way!
