Man, I took a couple of pictures of the massive cloud of geese the day before the race! They made so much noise it was insane. Or maybe they were insane since they were definitely heading NORTH!!!!
My kids always referred to the formations as *picture birds*. {We still do to this day.} That being said...my first thought was *GAH! The Birds!!!* as I recalled the last time I watched Hitchcock's freaky story and the next day discovered my front yard covered with a million black birds. GAH!
Great picture. This is the best time of year, in my opinion. Then again, I live in Wisco, which is pretty much Canada (at least according to people that mention my accent) :)
