And so this is Christmas

So much has gone on since my last blog post, some good, some not very good, but then again, that is what life is all about.  Life has been extremely busy, challenging and complicated.  Learning how to deal with a parent that has rapid dementia and a best friend with inoperable terminal cancer.  God only gives you what you can handle.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a Wonderful, Happy, Healthy New Year.  May all your wishes and dreams come true for you in 2012.

Life's fun if you don't weaken,

Lily

Merry Christmas, Laurel. Life is a journey eh? Let's hope everybody can be worn out and broken down by the time we get to the end of the road! Be safe!

Try to find the small miracles in the daily activities for both your friend with cancer and your loved one with dementia. I work in the Alzheimer's industry, so I know all too well how overwhelming your life is right now.
